Hillsborough Community College

Hillsborough Community College won the 1988 NJCAA Baseball World Series.

On January 20, 2026, the college entered into a partnership with the Tampa Bay Rays to develop a site near the school's campus where it would house a new ballpark for the team, replacing the outdated Tropicana Field, as well as new facilities for the school and a mixed-use development. The site is located near Tampa International Airport and Raymond James Stadium, the home of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
