Lelo Prado

Lelo Prado became the coach of the University of South Florida in 2007 after 11 seasons at the University of Louisville (1996-2006). Prior to that, he coached for seven years at the University of Tampa (1989-1995), where his players included future big leaguers Tino Martinez, Jeff Carter, Ozzie Timmons, and Sam Militello. He led Tampa to NCAA Division II titles in 1992 and 1993. Prado was an assistant at Tampa from 1986 to 1988 and at Hillsborough Community College in 1985

Prado played two seasons at Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida before transferring to the University of Tampa, where he graduated in 1985.
