Team History[edit]
The Columbus Clingstones began play in the Southern League in 2025, replacing the Mississippi Braves as the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. They were the first affiliated team to play in Columbus, GA since the departure of the Columbus Catfish after the 2006 season, and were housed in the same ballpark as their predecessors - but only after what had been called Golden Park had undergone extensive renovations, and was now known as Synovus Park. The historic ballpark was originally built in 1926.
