Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Grant Kay was drafted in the 27th round of the 2014 amateur draft by the Tampa Bay Rays. He played in their chain through 2019, logging 5 games at the AAA level in 2017. He then played in independent leagues through 2023.
Kay was a "utility coach" at the Atlanta Braves' Florida Complex in 2024. He was then hitting coach of the Columbus Clingstones in 2024-2025.
