With the bases loaded and no out in the 9th, Kyosuke Sasaki hits one just foul that otherwise would have won the game. After he is retired, Kintetsu tries a squeeze bunt; Hiroshima called a pitch-out from Enatsu and Shigeru Ishiwata missed the bunt, leading to the runner from 3rd (Shiro Fujise) being caught off the bag. Enatsu then whiffs Ishiwata to end it.
