June 5, 2000: Drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 11th round of the 2000 amateur draft. Player signed June 12, 2000.

July 23, 2002: Traded by the Los Angeles Dodgers with Ben Diggins to the Milwaukee Brewers for a player to be named later and Tyler Houston. The Milwaukee Brewers sent Brian Mallette (October 16, 2002) to the Los Angeles Dodgers to complete the trade.

December 1, 2003: Traded by the Milwaukee Brewers with a player to be named later and Richie Sexson to the Arizona Diamondbacks for Chris Capuano, Craig Counsell, Chad Moeller, Lyle Overbay, Jorge de la Rosa and Junior Spivey.
