    Blake Swihart (BOS): Swihart is expected to be ready for Opening Day against the Pirates as he is recovering from left ankle surgery. (Ankle)
    Wilson Ramos (TBR): Ramos is recovering from offseason right knee surgery to repair ACL and meniscus tears and is not expected to return to action until sometime in June. (Knee)
    Zack Wheeler (NYM): Wheeler missed all of the last season as he was rehabbing from Tommy John surgery but is likely to suit up against the Braves during the opening series of 2017. (Elbow)
    Gerrit Cole (PIT): Cole is expected to suit up Opening Day against the Red Sox as he has recovered from swelling and inflammation in his pitching elbow. (Elbow)
    Cam Bedrosian (LAA): Bedrosian had surgery to repair blood clots in his right armpit but is expected to be ready for Opening Day against the Athletics. (Arm)
    Pablo Sandoval (BOS): Sandoval sat out most of 2016 as he had surgery to fix a torn labrum in his left shoulder but is expected to be fully recovered for season opener against the Pirates. (Shoulder)
    Matt Harvey (NYM): Harvey is likely to suit up during the opening series against the Braves as he is expected to be fully recovered from the offseason thoracic outlet syndrome surgery he underwent. (Shoulder)
    Brandon Workman (BOS): Workman sat out the entire 2016 as he was rehabbing from Tommy John surgery but is likely to be fully recuperated in time for the opening series against the Pirates. (Elbow)
    Michael Brantley (CLE): Brantley is recovering from second shoulder surgery that sidelined him for most of the 2016 season but is expected to be ready for Opening Day against the Rangers. (Shoulder)
    Neil Walker (NYM): Walker had a lumbar microelectronics performed on his back during the offseason but it is not expected to impede his availability for the season opener against the Braves. (Back)
    Eduardo Rodriguez (BOS): Rodriguez sustained an offseason knee injury but is expected to be ready in time for the opening series against the Pirates. (Knee)
    Jacob deGrom (NYM): deGrom is recuperating from surgery to repair ulnar nerve damage in his right elbow but is expected to suit up in the opening series against the Braves. (Elbow)
