May 21, 1977: Traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the Montreal Expos for players to be named later. The Montreal Expos sent Shane Rawley (May 27, 1977) and Angel Torres (May 27, 1977) to the Cincinnati Reds to complete the trade.

March 23, 1978: Selected off waivers by the Seattle Mariners from the Montreal Expos.

November, 1978: Returned to the Montreal Expos by the Seattle Mariners following previous waiver selection.
