Edward Illidge hit .257/.306/.376 for the 2003 Montreal Royales. In 2005, he batted .281/.340/.404 for Kinheim. He was among the Hoofdklasse leaders in homers (3, tied for third behind Ivanon Coffie and Dirk van 't Klooster), RBI (22, tied for 9th with Percy Isenia and Lars Koehorst), total bases (59, 10th) and doubles (9, tied for 7th).

In 2006, Illidge fell to .241/.320/.383 with Kinheim. He tied for fourth in the league with three homers, even with Yuji Nerei, Kalian Sams, Raily Legito and Fausto Alvarez. He finished his career in the Netherlands with a bang, going 8 for 18 with two doubles, five walks, four runs and 2 RBI in five games as Kinheim took its first title in over a decade.
