David Chadd

David Chadd was the scouting director for the Boston Red Sox from 2002 to 2004, and has held the same post with the Detroit Tigers since 2005.

Chadd previously spent eight years in the scouting department of the Florida Marlins, where he was an area scout from 1994 to 1997, then promoted to cross-checker in 1998. He was the Marlins' scouting director when he left the club in 2001.

Chadd was an assistant baseball coach at Kansas State University (1992-1993) and Wichita State University (1990-1991). He had been an outfielder at KSU in 1988.
