Biographical Information[edit]
Yuma Fugo has pitched for the Japanese national team.
Masui pitched for Japan in the 2016 U-15 Baseball World Cup, and he played for JR Tokai in the industrial leagues after college. He represented Japan in the 2025 Asian Championship, and he pitched a shutout inning against China. He then relieved Ryuji Yanoda against South Korea, and he completed a shutout inning with 2 singles allowed (to Tae-kyung Lee and Jong-sung Lim). Japan beat Taiwan to win Gold.[1]
