Biographical Information[edit]

Yang-Yueh Tseng played in the CPBL and for the Chinese Taipei national baseball team. His brother is CPBL infielder Yang-Chih Tseng

Tseng represented Taiwan in the 1993 World Junior Championship, 1997 Asian Championship and 2001 Asian Championship. The Sinon Bulls drafted Tseng in the second round of the 2002 CPBL Draft. He hit .253/.303/.374 in his rookie year, but then declined to .224/.294/.322 in 2003. Tseng's batting average fell to .201 in 2004, and the Bulls released him after he recorded a 7-for-48 in 2005. Tseng then served as defense coach for the Bulls from 2006 to 2008. After left the CPBL, Tseng became the coach of the Chinese Culture University from 2009 to 2013.

Overall, Tseng had hit .220/.291/.315 and 7 home runs in four seasons in the CPBL.
