Wilker Palma has pitched in the minors and for the Venezuelan national team.
He spent two seasons in the Texas Rangers system, starting off by going 3-1 with two saves and a 4.19 ERA for the 2021 DSL Rangers 2. He struck out 30 and allowed only 10 hits in 19 1/3 IP. In 2022, he split time between the DSL Rangers Red and DSL Rangers Blue but was a composite 0-4 with a save and a 6.34 ERA. He fanned 41 in 32 2/3 IP but walked 22 and yielded 30 hits. He had a 3.00 ERA for the Navegantes del Magallanes in the 2023-2024 Venezuelan League. He allowed one unearned run in two innings in the 2024 U-23 Baseball World Cup. [1]
During the 2025 Bolivarian Games, he made one appearance for the Bronze Medalists. Relieving José Guzmán in the 3rd with a 2-0 deficit, two on and one out against Curaçao, a run scored on a throwing error by the catcher but he whiffed Ray-Jacson Chirino and Reyhan Fecunda to end the inning. He allowed the bases loaded in the 4th on a hit and two walks but struck out Shendrion Martinus to escape the jam. After retiring the first two in the 5th, he walked Fecunda and was replaced by Luis Espinoza with his team in a much better position than he found them, the game tied at 3. They would go on for the come-from-behind win. [2]
