Biographical Information[edit]

Starting pitcher Wes Parsons began his professional career in 2013 after being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Braves on July 30, 2012.

With the Rome Braves in 2013, he went 7-7 with a 2.63 ERA in 19 starts, walking only 21 batters in 109 2/3 innings. In 2014, he was 4-7 with a 5.02 ERA in 23 starts for the Lynchburg Hillcats.

He was briefly called up to the majors on June 28, 2018, but was sent back down the following day without having taken part in a game when Ronald Acuna was activated from the disabled list. He did make his debut on August 9th.
