Biographical Information

Steven Cardona graduated from the University of South Florida in 2018 with a degree in Business Administration. While still in college, he embarked upon a career in baseball. Cardona started as an Intern in the New York Mets organization from 2016-2018, spending at least part of that time in the Mets' Dominican Republic academy. He probably worked in the Miami Marlins organization in some capacity in 2019. Cardona joined the Tampa Bay Rays in 2020 as a Baseball Operations Assistant, a role he repeated in 2021. The next year he was a Technology Assistant for the FCL Blue Jays. In 2023, Cardona worked as a hitting instructor and general manager for Infinite Hitting.[1]

The Minnesota Twins hired Cardona for a hitting coach position with the DSL Twins in 2024-2025 and FCL Twins in 2026.
