Biographical Information

Shuichi Kitamura signed with the Chunichi Dragons in 1987, and he only got 2 at-bats combined in his first six seasons. He went 5-for-18 in 1994, and he hit .225/.304/.282 in 30 games in 1995. The Dragons then traded him to the Kintetsu Buffaloes for Akihiro Shimada, but he only played one more game before he announced his retirement in 1997.
