Biographical Information[edit]
Sho Kusaka has pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Kusaka was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons and Chiba Lotte Marines in the first round of the 2023 NPB draft, and the Dragons won the lottery for the rights to him; the scout was Eiji Shotsu.[1] He underwent Tommy John surgery and missed the 2024 season, and he debuted against the Yomiuri Giants on October 1, 2025. Kusaka allowed 5 runs in 3 1/3 innings so he got the loss, and that was his only appearance for the big club in his first season.
