Biographical Information

Seiya Akagi has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Akagi was drafted by the Hiroshima Toyo Carp in the 5th round of the 2025 NPB draft; the scout was Tomoya Sayashi. He made his NPB debut on March 27, 2026 against the Chunichi Dragons, and he got his first strikeout against Takumu Nakano on April 3.
