Biographical Information

Seishu Higuchi has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Higuchi played for the Saitama Musashi Heat Bears from 2021 to 2022, and he was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 3rd round of the development phase in the 2022 NPB draft. He hit .203/.275/.270 in 104 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023, and he was 0-for-3 with the big club. Higuchi then hit .267/.343/.312 with 21 steals in the minors in 2024, but he was hitless again in 6 games (1 at-bat) with the big club. He was 4th in the Western League in swipes, between Nozomu Takatera and Kairi Shimada. He played 33 games for the big club in 2025, but his batting line was .091/.130/.091 in 25 plate appearances.
