Biographical Information[edit]
Ryunosuke Iwamoto has pitched for the Japanese national team.
Iwamoto played for JFE West Japan in the industrial leagues after college, and he represented Japan in the 2025 Asian Championship. He pitched a shutout inning against Pakistan, and he collected a strikeout against Muhammad Hussain. Iwamoto then relieved Yuma Fugo against South Korea, and he completed a shutout inning. Japan beat Taiwan to win Gold.[1]
