Biographical Information[edit]
Muhammad Hussain debuted for the Pakistani national team in the 2018 Asian Games. He got into two games, backing up Arsalan Jamashaid at SS and Jawad Ali at 1B and was their only back-up position player to see any playing time. In his lone at-bat, he grounded out against Ryoga Tomiyama. He had 3 putouts at 1B, 2 assists at SS and no errors at either spot. He then played for the Pakistani national team in the 2025 West Asia Baseball Cup, and he was 0-for-1. [1] Hussain represented Pakistan in the 2025 Asian Championship, and he was 1-for-3 with a single (off Xudi Suo) versus China as their starting third baseman. Hussain went 0-for-3 against Japan, and he had a 1-for-4 record with a single against the the Philippines, the hit coming off Amiel de Guzman. He then went 1-for-4 versus Hong Kong, and he scored twice against Palestine with a triple versus former minor leaguer Brent Powers. [2]
