Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Rogelio Del Campo played in the New York Mets minor league system from 2006-2009. He played mostly in the low minors, but made one appearance with the AAA Buffalo Bisons in 2009. From 2010-2018, he played for various teams in the Mexican League. His brothers Jon Del Campo and Manny Del Campo also played pro ball.
Del Campo began his coaching career during the 2019/2020 Mexican Pacific League season with Águilas de Mexicali. He was the Mexicali catching coach through 2022/2023. Del Campo moved to the Cañeros de Los Mochis in 2024/2025 in the same position and repeated that role in 2025/2026.
The San Diego Padres hired Del Campo as a hitting coach for the DSL Padres Brown in 2025 and bench coach of the DSL Padres Gold in 2026.
