Biographical Information[edit]

Pascal Sanvoisin pitched in the French Division Elite and for the French national team. In 2001, he was 5-3 with a 3.53 ERA for the Paris Université Club, tying Nicolas Dubaut for the team lead in wins and leading them with 98 K. [1] In the 2001 Baseball World Cup, he allowed four walks, five hits and four runs (all earned) in 1 2/3 IP, striking out one; he did not have France's highest ERA as Boris Rothermundt and Jean-Philippe Miet were higher. A highlight was striking out Kan-Lin Huang. Among the former or future major leaguers he pitched to were Chris Snopek, Chin-Feng Chen, Ben Broussard and Ken Huckaby. [2] His last season in France's top league was 2002, when he had a 4-1, 5.00 record for Paris, striking out 40 but walking 39 in 36 IP. He still tied Jérôme Dussart for second on the club in victories. [3]
