Team History[edit]

The Ontario Tower Buzzers were named as a new team in the California League for the 2026 season after a series of changes of affiliations in the California League. The Ontario franchise is the former Rancho Cucamonga Quakes as the Los Angeles Dodgers affiliate. The Los Angeles Angels also changed affiliations, from the Inland Empire 66ers, to take over the Quakes. The Modesto Nuts franchise moved south to take over the Inland Empire franchise as the Seattle Mariners affiliate.
