Biographical Information

Pitcher Noble Meyer was drafted 10th overall in the 2023 amateur draft, by the Miami Marlins out of a high school in Oregon. He was considered the top high school pitcher in the country heading into the draft and was considered a complete pitcher, with a fastball that sometimes touched 98 mph, but also a very good slider, at an age when many high schoolers are still trying to harness their raw tools. He gave up a commitment to attend the University of Oregon in order to sign with the Marlins.

He began his professional career the year he was drafted with the FCL Marlins, making 2 starts, before making another 3 with the Jupiter Hammerheads of the Florida State League. In 11 innings that year, his ERA was 4.09 and he struck out 15. In 2024, he made 8 starts with Jupiter, being named the FSL Pitcher of the Month in May, before being promoted to the Beloit Sky Carp of the Midwest League on May 28th, where he started another 10 times in 11 outings. He was named to play in the 2024 Futures Game and finished with a combined record of 2-7, 4.01, with 85 strikeouts in 74 innings.
