The New York Institute of Technology was a founding member of the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference in 1989, but didn't compete in the conference in baseball until 2018. The school apparently did not have a team for one year in 1992.

In August 2020, New York Tech announced it would be suspending its intercollegiate NCAA DII athletics activities for at least two years [1], a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. Its baseball program has been suspended since that time.
