Team History[edit]
From 1998 to 2005, the Nashua Pride was a member of the independent Atlantic League, and in 2000 they were league champs. For the 2006 season, the club moved to the independent Can-Am Association. From 2000 to 2007, the Pride has been managed by former big league player and skipper Butch Hobson, culminating with another league championship in 2007. Former teammate Rick Miller replaced him in 2008.
The team was sold to a new ownership group after the 2008 season and became the American Defenders of New Hampshire
