Biographical Information[edit]
Misho Nishikawa has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Nishikawa won the MVP of the Tohto University Base Ball League in 2023 [1], and he represented Japan in the 2024 Haarlemse Honkbalweek. He hit .300/.364/.400 with 8 runs in 7 games, leading the event in runs, one ahead of Lorenzo Morresi, Stijn van der Meer and Kengo Yanagidate. The outfielder handled 17 chances error-free. [2] The Chiba Lotte Marines and Orix Buffaloes selected him in the first round of the 2024 NPB draft, and the Marines won the lottery for the rights to him; the scout was Yoichi Fukuzawa. [3] Nishikawa debuted against the Softbank Hawks on March 28, 2025, and he got his first hit against Kohei Arihara. He ended up hitting .281/.318/.381 with 27 doubles in his rookie year, and he led the Pacific League in doubles, one more than Keita Nakagawa and Manaya Nishikawa.
