Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Toothman was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 15th round of the 1978 Amateur Draft, but he didn't sign and went to college. He represented the USA in the 1981 World Games [1] and 1981 Intercontinental Cup. [2] The Chicago White Sox picked him in the 38th round of the 1981 Amateur Draft, but he did not sign again. Toothman was picked by the White Sox again in the 13th round of the 1982 Amateur Draft, and he hit .232/.337/.393 in 62 games for the Niagara Falls Sox then he announced his retirement.
