Biographical Information[edit]

Mickey Klutts played eight seasons in the major leagues. He was primarily a third baseman, and most of his major league at-bats came in the early 1980s for the Oakland Athletics.

He was the co-MVP of the International League in 1976 with the Syracuse Chiefs (shared with Rich Dauer and Joe Lis). He played for Syracuse in 1976, 1977, and 1983. He ranks # 4 in Chiefs history for his .308 batting average with them. He was named in 2004 to the Syracuse Baseball Wall of Fame.
