Biographical Information

Masami Ishigaki has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Ishigaki was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 3rd round of the 2016 NPB draft, and he spent his first three seasons primarily in the NPB Farm Leagues; he only got 18 at-bats combined for the big club. He went 4-for-33 in 2020, and he returned to the minors in 2021 as he only played 9 games for the top team. Ishigaki then hit .162/.186/.294 in 50 games in 2022 (he totaled only 68 AB, backing up Toshiki Abe at 2B), and he was 2-for-23 in 2023. He only got 10 at-bats for the big club in 2024,then the Chiba Lotte Marines picked him in the 2024 NPB Active draft.
