Biographical Information

Koki Fukuda was drafted by the Chiba Lotte Marines in the 5th round of the 2019 NPB draft; the scout was Yuta Shimoshikiryo. He was 1-for-23 in 2020, and he stayed in the minors in 2021. Fukuda then had a 1-for-18 record in 2022, and the Marines traded him to the Nippon Ham Fighters for Takahiro Nishimura. He hit .175/.242/.333 in 24 games in 2023, but he only played 5 games for the top team in 2024 and he announced his retirement.
