Biographical Information

Yuta Shimoshikiryo was drafted by the Chiba Lotte Marines in the 5th round of the 2007 NPB draft, but he didn't reach the big club before he announced his retirement in 2010. He then scouted for the Marines, signing Seiya Dohi, Kyota Fujiwara, Koki Fukuda, Naoya Masuda, Takahiro Matsunaga, Yuhei Nakaushiro, Shota Ueda and Hisanori Yasuda. He had the longest last name in NPB history.
