Biographical Information[edit]
Kenichi Yaezawa signed with the Toei Flyers in 1969, and he was 3-for-16 in his first season. He only got 31 at-bats combined in the next three season, and he played 43 games with a .078/.175/.137 batting line in 1974. Yaezawa went 1-for-15 in 1975, and he was traded with Toshizo Sakamoto to the Kintetsu Buffaloes for Toshikazu Hattori, Yozo Nagafuchi and Hidehiko Ichihashi. He didn't reach the top team again before he announced his retirement in 1976.
Overall, Yaezawa hit .088/.156/.168 with 10 hits in 6 seasons in NPB.
