Biographical Information[edit]

Ken Stabler was drafted by major league teams three times - first by the New York Yankees in the 10th round of the 1966 amateur draft, then in the secondary phase of the January 1967 amateur draft by the New York Mets, and last by the Houston Astros in the 2nd round of the January 1968 amateur draft. He never played baseball professionally.

He is more well-known for his exploits as a National Football League quarterback, which earned him election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016.
