Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Kedy Curl spent five seasons in the minor leagues, playing in the St. Louis Cardinals (1954-1956) and Baltimore Orioles (1957-1958) systems. Curl was also briefly property of the Detroit Tigers, going to Spring Training with the Birmingham Barons in 1957, [1] [2] but was optioned out in early April when the roster was cut down, and ultimately ended up in the Orioles chain.

He won over 10 games twice. In 1955, he was 13-10 in 38 games between the Dothan Cardinals and Lynchburg Cardinals. In 1957, he was 15-9 with a 2.51 ERA in 34 games (26 starts) for the Fitzgerald Orioles.

Overall, Curl was 38-30 in 144 games.
