Biographical Information[edit]
Jun-won Kim has played for the South Korea national team.
Kim was drafted by the NC Dinos in the 11th round of the 2024 KBO draft, and he stayed in the minors in his first two seasons.[1] He then represented South Korea in the 2025 Asian Championship. Kim relieved Jong-woon Kim in the first inning against Chinese Taipei, but he gave up a single to I-Wei Lee then walked Yu-Li Lin. Sung-Hsun Wu then hit a 2-run single, and Kim walked Chih-Yu Tsai and plunked Hsiao-Yun Chen then Jung-min Park replaced him. He then pitched 1/3 of a shutout inning against Palestine, and he gave up 2 runs in 2 innings versus China. Korea beat China to won Bronze. [2]
