Biographical Information[edit]

Joseph Yabbour pitched in the minor leagues and for the State of Palestine national baseball team. He is the cousin of Ronald Acuña Jr., Luisangel Acuña and Bryan Acuna [1]

Yabbour signed with the Minnesota Twins in 2019, but he was released in 2022. He then signed with the Seattle Mariners, and he was 2-0 with a 3.60 ERA for the DSL Mariners. The New York Mets then signed him, and he had a 3.24 ERA in 10 games for the FCL Mets and a 8.24 ERA in 14 appearances for the St. Lucie Mets. He teamed with Wellington Aracena and Brayhans Barreto on a no-hitter of the FCL Nationals. [2] The Chicago White Sox then picked him in the 2024 Rule V Draft [3], and he went 2-1 with a 3.15 ERA for the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers. He also pitched 21 games with a 8.27 ERA for the Winston-Salem Dash.

Yabbour was on Palestine's roster for the 2025 Asian Championship, but did not get into a game. [4]
