Biographical Information[edit]
Harry Swacina was in the National League in 1907-08 and later in the Federal League in 1914-15.
He was at Newark in 1913. In 1907 with Peoria he led the Three-I League with a .292 average. In all, he had 21 years in the minors.
He was born on the same day as Howie Camnitz. Both Swacina and Camnitz played approximately 320 games in the big leagues, and for a time, they were teammates on the Pittsburgh Pirates.
