Biographical Information[edit]

Skeeter Scalzi website indicates that Skeeter roomed with Mel Allen, led the Middle Atlantic League in batting, and was declared a major league free agent after "contract mishandling" by the Indians. He spent three years in the Navy and then managed for 14 before an auto crash.
