Biographical Information

Filip Kollmann has played in the Extraliga and for the Czech national team.

He debuted with the 2022 Třebíč Nuclears, posting a 7.50 ERA the year he turned 17. He had a 1-0, 6.93 record in 2023. He was 1-0 with a 5.25 ERA in the 2023 U-18 Baseball World Cup, defeating Spain. For the '24 Nuclears, he was 0-1 with a 7.97 ERA. He had a 1-0, 3.86 record in the 2025 European Champions Cup, beating minor league veteran Carlos García of Olimpija Karlovac. In the Extraliga that season, he blossomed, going 3-2 with 3 saves, a 2.96 ERA and 64 K in 45 2/3 IP while turning 20. He was one save behind leader Roldan Ochoa and missed the top-ten in strikeouts by two.

In the 2025 U23 European Championship, he threw three shutout innings. During the 2025 European Championship, he made one appearance, against runner-up Italy. He relieved Tomáš Duffek in the 7th with a 6-1 deficit, one on and no outs and went 1-2-3 against Renzo Martini, Giaconino Lasaracina and Alberto Mineo. He pitched a scoreless 8th as well as the Czechs came within 3 runs. After getting Noel González to open the 8th, he ran into trouble as Martini singled, Lasaracina homered and Mineo singled. Their other Filip, Filip Čapka, took over for him. The Czechs won Bronze, their first medal finish ever in a European Championship.
