Biographical Information[edit]

Farid Cijntje has been on the Curaçao national team. He is the brother of Jurrangelo Cijntje and son of Michelangelo Cijntje. [1]

Farid was with Curaçao for the 2025 Bolivarian Games. In his lone pitching appearance, he relieved Nathan Diaby in the 6th with a 7-3 deficit against Gold Medal winner Colombia. He allowed a Carlos Arroyo single, retired Daniel Vellojin, threw two wild pitches, yielded a triple to Jesús Marriaga, tossed a run-scoring wild pitch, walked Guillermo Quintana, gave up a Dario Borrero single, threw another wild pitch, got José Ramos on a run-scoring grounder and retired Jaider Morelos to end the frame. Ruchano Petronia succeeded him. He also pinch-ran once in the Games. Despite his limited time, he tied Diaby and Jorge Sivirichi for the tourney lead in wild pitches. [2]
