Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Dustin Geiger has played in the Chicago Cubs minor league system since 2010. He was drafted by the club in the 24th round of the 2010 amateur draft.
After a couple ho-hum seasons to begin his professional career, Geiger hammered 17 home runs for the Peoria Chiefs in 2012, to go along with a .251/.301/.465 line. The next year, he hit .281/.366/.459 with 17 home runs and 86 RBI in 123 games for the Daytona Cubs, earning a spot on the MiLB.com Organization All-Star team.
He began 2014 with the Tennessee Smokies.
