Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Connor Justus was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the 5th round of the 2016 Amateur Draft from Georgia Tech. He played in the Angels minor league system from 2016-2019. In 2020 the minor league season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but Justus was able to play briefly for the St. Paul Saints in the independent American Association. Justus returned to affiliated ball in 2021 in the Miami Marlins organization and reached AAA for the first time with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. He completed his playing career in 2022 with the Charleston Dirty Birds of the independent Atlantic League.

The Atlanta Braves hired Justus to coach the Augusta GreenJackets in 2024. The Braves promoted him to hitting coach of the Rome Emperors in 2025-2026.
