Most of Chuck Seelbach's major league innings were with the 1972 Tigers when he had a 2.89 ERA in 112 innings. He had a 9-8 record with 14 saves, good for seventh in the league. His teammates included Al Kaline and Norm Cash, both 37 at the time.

He currently is a history teacher at University School in Hunting Valley, Ohio.

Both he and pitcher Pete Broberg were at Dartmouth College in 1970.
