Biographical Information

Outfielder C.J. Kayfus made his major league debut for the Cleveland Guardians on August 2, 2025, starting in right field against the Minnesota Twins and going 0 for 4 with an RBI. He had played in the 2025 Futures Game only a couple of weeks before that and was drafted by the Guardians in the 3rd round of the 2023 amateur draft out of the University of Miami. He collected his first major league hit, a double against Michael Tonkin in his second game the day after his debut.
