Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Brian Sharp (sometimes listed as "Sharpe") was drafted by the New York Mets in the 26th round of the 2018 amateur draft. He played for the Brooklyn Cyclones in 2018 and the Columbia Fireflies in 2019. In 169 games he slashed .215/.294/.349 with 16 HRs and 16 SBs.

Sharp was an assistant coach at his alma mater in 2021-2023, then followed Steve Bieser to Jacksonville State University in 2024. He moved to the pro ranks as hitting coach of the Beloit Sky Carp in 2025 and Pensacola Blue Wahoos in 2026.
