He played in their system from 2003 to 2005, including a brief seven-game stint in AAA with the Salt Lake Stingers in 2004. Brought up as an injury fill-in, he went 0 for 10. The remainder of his career was spent in Rookie Ball or in Class A. After being let go by the Angels, he played one more season in the independent leagues, with the Joliet Jackhammers of the Northern League in 2006. He hit .153 in 19 games.

After his playing career, he went into coaching, serving as an assistant coach at Seattle University and Pierce Community College. He was also a minor league infield coach in the Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins organizations before joining the University of Washington as an assistant coach in 2022. In 2026, he returned to the Tigers, but this time as part of the major league coaching staff as a quality control coach.
