2017 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award

The 2017 Pacific League Most Valuable Player Award easily went to Softbank Hawks closer Dennis Sarfate, who had 180 of 263 first-place votes and more than double the vote point total of runner-up, teammate and former winner Yuki Yanagita. Sarfate had a 1.09 ERA while shattering the Nippon Pro Baseball with 54 saves, 8 more than the old mark.
