September 2, 1981: Sent by the Chicago White Sox to the Minnesota Twins to complete an earlier deal made on August 30, 1981. The Chicago White Sox sent a player to be named later, Ivan Mesa (minors), Ronnie Perry (minors) and cash to the Minnesota Twins for Jerry Koosman.

February 19, 1985: Traded by the Minnesota Twins with Ron Scheer (minors) to the Chicago White Sox for Roy Smalley.
